Last Saturday was a very eventful day. We started with Kate and Ethan riding the bike around the kitchen (Ethan still insists on wearing the helmet, even inside, even when he isn't riding the bike, and he was worried that Kate didn't have her helmet on too):
Great news! Captain Ethan also made his way to the ship on his pirate reward map! It took him six days of moving forward and sometimes backwards, and it felt great to have some clout in helping Ethan make good choices. Overall, there has been a noticeable improvements in his behavior.

Ethan and daddy baked sugar cookies, and when I got home from an afternoon out, we decorated them:
Ethan and Kate had a babysitter for the evening so Tim and I could go to my work party. Their babysitter brought them gifts!
