These Kids Crack Me Up

Ethan and Kate are both at really great ages. Ethan makes me smile by the way he skips out of his school when it's time to go home, and by all the funny things he says and does.

Here's Kate concentrating really hard on her play dough.

Ethan imagined that his play dough was chomping on his hand. . .
Kate insisted on wearing gloves and a helmet for her motorcycle ride, just like big brother. She made me go back inside with her to find the gloves. It was a warm day, too. I tried all winter to get her to wear a hat and gloves, and then it only worked on the bitterest of cold days. But now that we're riding motorcycles, Kate means business.
She also insisted on wearing her helmet all over our neighborhood. Apparently, we were low on laundry, so these clothes must have been the only ones available that morning. The sweatshirt was Ethan's (the leggings were not), and a mom at the park called her a boy. Too bad. The laundry is done now. Kate wore a dress today, just to make up for it.
