On Tuesday we arrived in Rapid City, after making another stop for a picnic lunch and a drive through Sturgis. I don't remember ever staying at a KOA, but for our first time camping with our little one, it really worked well. Besides, we were staying for three days, so everyone is just more comfortable with showers and clean toilets.
The whole idea of going to South Dakota came about last summer when our friends Tim and Teresa moved away to Wisconsin. They are our camping buddies, so we decided we would just have to meet halfway. Thus, here we were in Rapid City.
This is Ethan with his second friend in the whole world, Paul. Paul was wonderful at entertaining Ethan. His fake sneezes brought many giggles. And Paul was great at helping us with dinner and cleaning up the trash. What a good little boy!
