Tim's Day Off

Tim had to be out of town for a training this past weekend, so he took Thursday off.
We got up early and went out for breakfast at Perkins. We rarely go out for breakfast, because breakfast foods are so cheap anyway, why spend $8 for a plate of food? But we had a gift card and coupon, so it was completely worth it this time. It was rather relaxing, and we ended up having leftovers for the next day.

Then we went to our favorite hiking trail and took the kids for a hike. Kate is in the Snuggli pack on my front, but we couldn't get her in this picture.

Ethan and daddy crossed the creek on a log.

Ethan loves throwing rocks into the water.

I love this "action" shot.

Our happy family!
A great day. . . after the hike, we went home for lunch, had nap time, played, dinner, cheered daddy on at his softball game, and went to bed. It felt like Saturday, so I was confused for the rest of the weekend.
