Fan Day at Our Favorite Football Arena

In April, Kate and Ethan got to meet all their favorite university football players.  It was sort of funny because at first all the players were sitting at a huge row of tables, so we went down the line and got our little papers and footballs signed by each one.  I think it was more awkward for the players than anyone.  At least I could smile and introduce Ethan and let them know that he is one of their biggest fans.


Later, Ethan got to run around with the players and practice throwing the ball to a wooden cut-out of Benny the Bengal Tiger.

Kate actually got her picture in the paper.  It was a cute shot of her taking her signed football from one of the guys. The next morning Ethan was elated that his sister got to be on the front page of the sports section with one of the Bengals.  It's hard to see in the this picture, but Kate not only wore her pink backpack for the entire event, but her frilly pink purse too.
