Easter Saturday

Our church had an Easter Egg Roll/Craft Event called Easter with JC. I love it because it wasn't all about the candy. Even the egg "hunt" did not involve all the kids scrambling around to grab as many eggs as they possibly could before they were all gone.

Kate mostly enjoyed passing eggs out to her friends Paul (below) and Jonah:

Here's Ethan putting together his little foam cross that said "Alleluia, He lives!" (Both Kate and Ethan were proud of their work):
A milestone was that Kate was actually able to participate in the big kid activities. Here she is sitting in the circle, where they passed a ball around to Easter music. Can you see both Kate and Ethan? (One time several months ago I took Kate up to children's sermon, thinking she might rise to the occasion and sit with the big kids, but she wasn't into that yet. . . now she might be big enough!):

Afterwards, we enjoyed some fast food tacos. Kate loves joking around with her daddy and big brother (and I love her little sweater, found on sale a year ago at an outlet mall):
