Trick or Treating

On Halloween night we could only get Ethan in his costume by showing him that his cousins Jagger and Jaric were getting dressed up too (next year I'll let Ethan pick his own costume). Can you guess who they were?

That's right. . . ZZ Top.

Trick-or-Treating was really a blast. Ethan got to keep up with his big cousins. We had practiced what to say when he rang the door bell and what to say when the people put candy in his pumpkin.

This is what he said at one house:

Ethan: Tick or Teeeea-t!

(candy in pumpkin)

Me: What do you say?

Ethan: Tank you! Happy birt-day!

Guy: (laughing) Thanks! It's not until January, but you got me covered.

Kids are cute. . . trick-or-treating with a 2 year old--what fun.
