Yesterday I woke up and ran and we enjoyed sunshine! It was warm enough to be outside without a sweatshirt on (by the afternoon), so we played in the leaves, followed a kitty around our yard (Kate LOVES "puppies" and talks about them non-stop), while Tim worked on the roof and went for a bike ride. We also had friends over for pizza.
This morning we woke up early and went to first service at church. At the last minute before Sunday school, Kate was getting grumpy so we headed home and Tim said, "Hey, we should go swimming." I thought it was a lovely idea. So we loaded up (while Ethan danced around talking about going swimming as a "whole family") and headed on our way. The water is hot at the particular town we traveled to.
On our way out, Kate got stung by a wasp, and her cries brought many sympathetic looks.
We went to the park and got Thai food and had a picnic. Much of our time was spent reigning in active Kate who crawled. . . .
