More Updates on Kate: Praying, Talking, Coloring, Standing, Bathing, Watching Ethan, Talking

Kate can fold her hands for prayer, and one day at church she thought Grandpa had gone "night-night" when he closed his eyes to pray. She loves to turn my head to look at her when she's talking to me.

Other favorite words of hers are puppy (by far her favorite), peek, peese, light, bye-bye, and ball.

A new love of Kate's is coloring. She feels so important getting to use the markers and crayons and seeing what happens when she runs those writing tools all over the paper. Last night we had some friends over and she stood there for an hour and colored with me while we played games. She loved it, as long as I kept the pen in my hand and kept drawing. If I stopped, she'd quickly pick it up and give it back to me and tell me (in her own words), "Eh, don't forget to draw with me, eh."

Kate loves to stand up while she organizes drawers. Here she is after cleaning out Ethan's drawers (we have really well organized drawers now, as long as I take the time to put everything back right 20 times a day):

Kate loves her baths, loves her snuggly jammies, and loves to sit on big-girl chairs. . .

Kate also loves watching her big brother. . . .
