President's Day Weekend Cabin Trip, Part 2

Day Two:  Kate and Paul playing before we head out:
(this would cause some cold feet later in the morning. . . . _

(but Grandpa would save the day at lunch. . .gloves on toes)

A moose and its mama nearby:

Daddy caught some fish this year (they started wiggling right when I took the picture):
 Day 3:
On our way out of town, we stopped for one more ski and found another moose near the trail (in the trees):

What I remember about this year's trip is that it was pleasant, calm, and full of fantastic memories.  We are thankful for my in-laws and for our friends Darin and Tera who join us every year to keep the tradition going.  And thank the Lord for healthy, increasingly independent kids.
