Kate covered up Baby Jesus with a potholder:
Our church service was at 5:00 p.m., a perfect time, and a perfect service. Our friends Heather and Josh played Mary and Joseph, and their 9-day-old baby, Nicholas, played Baby Jesus. He was perfectly quiet the entire time, which was a nice touch as we sang Silent Night. 
When we got home from church, the kids had snacks while they waited to open gifts with Grandma and Grandpa:
Kate got a cute fleece jacket and an Elmo cleaning set:
