The weather around Christmas was unusually warm, so the kids and I went for a walk on the eve of Christmas Eve.

Here we are stopping for a hand-warming break. How often do I take the kids for a walk while I wear my gloves and they don't have any on their tiny little hands? Poor kids.

That night, we went to the mall to play at the playground. Kate was ever-so-interested in Santa, and waved from afar, but could not muster the nerves to get her picture taken with the big guy. Ethan was our brave boy, and asked for a new Thomas train:

Santa delivered.
