The week of Thanksgiving continued to give us more snow. On Tuesday, I was scheduled to have a wonderful in-service with my teaching team, and we were all looking forward to it. However, when I woke up (later than normal because the blowing wind outside convinced me to stay home from working out), I had several texts telling me our meetings had been canceled due to the storm.
I was disappointed, but also cried with relief because I was exhausted, and overjoyed to be able to spend the day with Kate and Ethan.
