Peaceful, Serene

That's how I describe the first day of skiing on our President's Day Weekend Trip.

I have to carry Kate in a front pack when we ski, while Tim carries Ethan on his back. I like to go pretty fast, so most of the time I was ahead of everyone else. I do enjoy the scenery, but I like to get where I'm going as quickly as possible to avoid a hungry, iritable child by the end of the ski.

Before we turned around to return to our car, we stopped to check out this dam. I stayed with our friend Tera at the top of the hill because I didn't feel like climbing down the hill/cliff (or back up) while carrying Kate.

Ethan was an awesome skiier.
