Two weekends ago we went out into the woods with Gabe and Karen to find the perfect tree. We first tried putting Ethan on a sled to pull him, but he kept tipping over because he wanted to feel the snow. We instead carried him on our shoulders because we (I) had forgotten the hiking pack. It all worked out great until Ethan got too cold and we were a short mile or so from the car. Grandpa carried him back (he cried hard all the way back) while Tim, Karen, and I found the trees and hauled them the rest of the way.
