Saturday was a beautiful day outside, and I spent many hours pruning and digging and trimming and cleaning up leaves and twigs and weeds. I'm pretty excited to have everything cleaned up and to wait for the tulips to bloom. Last year I planted a few perennials, but this year I want to get a few more, and I have some ideas for annuals too.
I should have taken a picture before this one, showing all the weeds, overgrown shrubs, and un-pruned rose bushes. But hopefully this is just the beginning and soon I'll have a shot of many beautiful roses, daisies, petunias, and more.
