Painting Pumpkins

I have a picture of Ethan painting a little pumpkin when he was 2. Baby Kate, who was probably 4 months old at the time, was laying on the counter watching.

Now I have two little painters.

Ethan's entire pumpkin ended up blue, which is surprising since his favorite color is Bengal orange.

I am still finding Kate's blue paint all over our kitchen. On another occasion when we painted fall leaves, Ethan got paint all over his new white socks and Kate landed on my painting as she tried to grab a toy back from Ethan. How do preschool teachers do it?
